A pallet racking system is modular: each upright frame (two uprights joined by diagonal and horizontal bracing, standing on footplates) and each pair of beams form an additional level or bay. Therefore, expanding an existing installation does not require purchasing an entire new kit; simply adding the missing frames and beams is sufficient.
Safety locking pins secure the beam connector to the upright and are the device required by the EN 15635 standard for every connector: if one is lost or bent, it must be replaced. Upright protectors and barriers absorb forklift impacts before they reach the structure, making them the most frequently replaced components in a busy warehouse. Footplates (base plates), floor anchors, and bolts complete the frame: anchoring the racking to the concrete slab is mandatory in workplaces where forklifts are used, as per S.I. No. 299/2007, Regs. 28 and 30 in Ireland.
All parts are compatible with each other and with the kits we sell. If your racking is from another manufacturer, write to us with the model and the dimensions of the upright, and we will let you know which parts are suitable.
