Throughout the rest of this notice we refer to this company as “Racks Point”, “we” or “the site owner”.
Through rackspoint.com we sell steel shelving, pallet racking systems, mezzanine floors, workbenches and storage accessories, both to private customers and to businesses. The site includes configurators that let you size a product and work out its price, a shopping basket and a customer account area.
Using the site gives you the status of user and means that you accept this legal notice. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use the site.
Prices are shown in euros. Unless stated otherwise, product pages and configurators show the price excluding VAT and, next to it, the price including the VAT rate applicable to your delivery country.
We sell throughout the European Union and apply the VAT rate of the country of destination under the One Stop Shop (OSS) scheme. If you are a business with a VAT number that is valid in the VIES system and delivery is to another Member State, the transaction is invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge.
Delivery charges are calculated according to the delivery country and are shown before you confirm your order. A large part of the catalogue is manufactured or supplied to order: the estimated lead time appears on each product page and we confirm it to you when we accept the order.
We reserve the right to correct obvious typographical errors in prices or specifications. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will let you know before dispatching it and you may cancel it free of charge.
The terms of purchase, the 14-day right of withdrawal, refund periods and the statutory warranty are all set out in our returns policy, which forms part of this legal notice.
Please note that products made to measure to your own specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as permitted by article 103(c) of the texto refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (the consolidated Spanish General Act for the Protection of Consumers and Users). The design of the site, the texts, the technical drawings, the configurators, the product photographs and the Racks Point brand belong to Punto de Estanterías, S.L. or are used with the appropriate permission.
You may view, download and print the content for your own personal use or to assess a purchase. You may not reproduce, distribute, alter or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Some of the product images are computer-generated renderings based on the real technical drawings, and this is recorded in the metadata of each file. They are there to give you an accurate impression of the product; minor differences in finish compared with the unit supplied do not constitute a defect.
We take reasonable care to keep the information on the site up to date and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of errors at all times or that the service will run without interruption.
The load capacities we quote are those declared by the manufacturer for correct use: evenly distributed loads, full assembly in accordance with the instructions, a level floor and anchoring where the height or the intended use requires it. We are not liable for damage arising from incorrect assembly, overloading or any use other than the intended one.
The site may contain links to third-party pages. We do not control their content and accept no responsibility for it.
