These terms govern the sale of metal shelving, pallet racking systems, mezzanines, workbenches and storage accessories through rackspoint.com. We sell to consumers and to businesses, and we ship to Spain and the rest of the European Union.
By confirming an order you accept these terms in the version published at that time. We may amend them, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
We manufacture much of the catalogue ourselves, so many items are produced to order and others are made to measure from the configurator's options.
Photographs are indicative: what defines the product are the dimensions, the load capacity and the finish stated on the product page. Load capacities per shelf are per unit and assume a uniformly distributed load.
If we detect an obvious pricing error, we will tell you before processing the order and you may confirm it at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.
The process is: add to basket, enter billing and delivery details, choose a payment method and confirm. The sale is concluded when we confirm the order by email.
If an item turns out to be unavailable after confirmation, we will tell you and you may choose to wait, replace it, or cancel with a full refund.
Timescales, zones and transport costs — which depend on the country and the volume — are detailed under shipping costs, which forms part of these terms.
Delivery is made to the address you provide. Please check the goods on receipt and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery note: that is what makes a claim on the transport insurance possible.
If you buy as a consumer you have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw without giving a reason. The full procedure, return costs and refund timescales are in the returns policy.
Important legal exception: there is no right of withdrawal for products made to measure or clearly personalised to your specifications (article 103.c of the Spanish consumer protection act). This applies to shelving and mezzanines configured to custom dimensions, and it is stated before you confirm the purchase.
Products carry the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity provided for consumers under Spanish law. For sales to businesses, the corresponding statutory commercial period applies.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear, damage from overloading beyond the capacity stated on the product page, incorrect assembly, or use other than that for which the product is designed.
Shelving must be assembled following the instructions, anchored where indicated, and used within the maximum loads per shelf and per unit. Storage is a safety installation: exceeding the stated loads or altering the structure voids the guarantee and may cause damage.
We issue an invoice for every order. If you buy as a business, enter the tax number and company name during purchase: the invoice is issued with the details provided and the name on it cannot be changed once issued.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. In contracts with consumers, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the consumer's domicile, in accordance with applicable regulations. In dealings with businesses, the parties submit to the courts of the city of Valencia.
