Here we set out, plainly, what data of yours we process, what for, how long we keep it and who we share it with. It is meant to be easy to follow: if anything is unclear, write to us at info@rackspoint.com and we will explain it.

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. For any matter concerning your data, the email address above is the channel to use.

We do not carry out advertising profiling and we do not sell your data to anyone. We do not process special categories of data (health, beliefs, etc.) and the site is not aimed at children under 14.

These automated decisions are limited to preparing a commercial offer: they do not produce legal effects concerning you nor do they significantly affect you, and under no circumstances do they decide on your creditworthiness or exclude you from anything. Even so, you may ask at any time to be dealt with by a person, express your point of view and contest the response you have received, by writing to us at info@rackspoint.com.
Only with those needed to make the service work. All of them act as processors, under a signed contract and following our instructions, except where we state otherwise:

In addition, we disclose data to the Agencia Tributaria (the Spanish tax authority), to banks and to public authorities where the law requires us to do so.
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, where the provider is certified, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, together with additional security measures. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards by writing to us.
If you give us your consent when completing your order, we will disclose to Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) your email address, your order number, the country of delivery and the estimated delivery date, for the sole purpose of enabling Google to send you a survey about your satisfaction with your purchase.
The legal basis for this disclosure is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”). Giving it is entirely voluntary: if you do not give your consent, your order will be processed as normal and we will not disclose any data to Google.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, by writing to us at info@rackspoint.com. You may also unsubscribe directly from the survey that Google sends you.
Google processes this data as an independent controller in accordance with its Privacy Policy. This disclosure may involve an international transfer of data to servers located outside the European Economic Area; that transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
If you take part and publish a rating, your score may be displayed in aggregated and anonymised form alongside our ads and on our seller profile.
Your data is yours to control. You may exercise the following rights at any time:
To exercise them, write to us at info@rackspoint.com stating which right you wish to exercise. If we cannot identify you from what we already hold, we will ask you to prove your identity. We will reply within one month at the latest and it is free of charge.
If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (the Spanish Data Protection Agency, aepd.es, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid). We would be grateful if you gave us the chance to put things right first.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: HTTPS encryption of the site, passwords always stored encrypted, two-step verification for access to the administration area, backups, and access limited to those who need it for their work.
No system is infallible. If a security breach occurred that posed a high risk to your rights, we would inform you and notify the supervisory authority in accordance with the GDPR.
We use our own cookies that are necessary for the site to work (your session, your language and your basket) and, only if you accept them, measurement cookies. We set this out in detail in our cookie policy, where you can also change your choice at any time.
If we change the way we process your data, we will update this page and its revision date. Where the change is significant and we have your email address, we will let you know.
