Description · Warehouse Vertical Upright
The vertical upright is the essential component that forms the main structure of your storage system. Designed to support the load of the upper levels, this 300 cm high and 90x60 mm steel profile provides the solidity and stability needed for any work environment. With a blue finish, this vertical upright is perfect for ensuring safety and efficiency in organizing your space.
The vertical upright is the backbone of any robust and efficient storage solution. With its 300 cm height and 90x60 mm profile, this component provides the solid base needed to build systems that optimize vertical space. Its design is intended to support the loads distributed through the beams, allowing for the configuration of multiple load heights and maximizing your warehouse capacity. The blue finish not only provides a professional aesthetic but can also facilitate identification within a work environment, contributing to better overall organization. This vertical upright is the ideal choice for those seeking a reliable and durable structure.
The assembly of structures that use this vertical upright is an intuitive and efficient process. The high-strength steel profiles, with a 1.5 mm thickness, guarantee the stability and safety of the final configuration. Installation is carried out by joining the vertical uprights with the corresponding beams, ensuring a firm connection with safety pins. The feet and anchors, which must be purchased separately, are essential for fixing the structure to the floor, complying with safety and stability regulations. This simple assembly system allows for rapid implementation, adapting to the changing needs of your workspace. The inherent robustness of this vertical upright is key to the longevity of your storage system.
This vertical upright is suitable for a wide variety of spaces, from small workshops to large logistics warehouses. Its 300 cm height and 90x60 mm profile make it particularly suitable for environments where storage height needs to be maximized without compromising accessibility. Unlike other more compact profiles, this model offers greater distributed load capacity, ideal for managing medium-weight goods. The standard blue finish is a nod to durability and professionalism, being a common color in industrial equipment. By choosing this vertical upright, you guarantee a solid foundation for your storage operations, ensuring the protection of your inventory and the efficiency of your processes.

Pallet racking and forklift operation
In Ireland, pallet racking in a forklift-served warehouse is work equipment under Part 2, Chapter 2 of the General Application Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007), implementing the EU Work Equipment Directive (now Directive 2009/104/EC). installed and located correctly (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), in practice erected as per the manufacturer’s instructions with the uprights anchored to the floor; maintained throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and inspected by a competent person after installation and re-assembly, then periodically and by special inspection after an accident, a modification or any other exceptional event, with records kept for 5 years (Reg. 30). Traffic routes must be dimensioned for the number of users and the type of undertaking, pedestrians given sufficient safety clearance where trucks share them, and areas where objects could fall clearly indicated and access controlled (Reg. 14). Health and Safety Authority guidance asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, racking checked regularly for damage and uprights protected from impact; its Code of Practice on the Safe Use of Industrial Trucks adds that features of the operating area such as racking should be clearly marked and protected against accidental damage. EN 15635, the European standard on the use and maintenance of storage equipment, is a technical reference for organising those checks, not a legal obligation.
