Frequently asked questions

Is it necessary to anchor this racking to the floor?
Yes, for safety and stability reasons, it is essential to anchor the uprights to the floor. This ensures the structure correctly supports the maximum load of 1500 kg per level.
How many pallets can I store in total on this racking?
If you use European pallets, you can store a total of 12 pallets (3 per level on 4 levels). For American pallets, the total capacity is 8 units.
Does the price include VAT or shipping costs?
The indicated price of €174.40 is the base cost of the product. Taxes and shipping costs will be calculated transparently during the checkout process on our website.
Can I expand this pallet racking system later?
Absolutely, our system is modular. You can easily add additional modules to extend the length of your racking according to your warehouse's growth needs.
What tools do I need to assemble the racking?
Assembly is intuitive, but you will need basic hand tools, a level to ensure verticality, and preferably a rubber mallet to fit the beam connectors without damaging the paint.
Floor anchoring is mandatory: the frames are fixed to the floor with the anchors included in the kit. The rack is assembled by slotting the parts together, with no screws; the anchors are only for fixing it to the floor. The stated load is per level, for a uniformly distributed static load and with the structure correctly assembled and leveled.

Applicable regulations in Ireland

Pallet racking and forklift operation

In Ireland, pallet racking in a forklift-served warehouse is work equipment under Part 2, Chapter 2 of the General Application Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007), implementing the EU Work Equipment Directive (now Directive 2009/104/EC). installed and located correctly (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), in practice erected as per the manufacturer’s instructions with the uprights anchored to the floor; maintained throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and inspected by a competent person after installation and re-assembly, then periodically and by special inspection after an accident, a modification or any other exceptional event, with records kept for 5 years (Reg. 30). Traffic routes must be dimensioned for the number of users and the type of undertaking, pedestrians given sufficient safety clearance where trucks share them, and areas where objects could fall clearly indicated and access controlled (Reg. 14). Health and Safety Authority guidance asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, racking checked regularly for damage and uprights protected from impact; its Code of Practice on the Safe Use of Industrial Trucks adds that features of the operating area such as racking should be clearly marked and protected against accidental damage. EN 15635, the European standard on the use and maintenance of storage equipment, is a technical reference for organising those checks, not a legal obligation.
