Description · Industrial Welding Cart

Our heavy-duty industrial welding carts offer a practical mobile storage solution for demanding Irish workshops needing reliable equipment transport. Built with two spacious tray levels in durable grey structural plastic, this unit measures 84 cm high, 117 cm wide, and 65 cm deep. It delivers a total load capacity of 250 kg (125 kg per tray) to handle bulky tools securely. Featuring four swivel castors with two brakes, these welding carts ensure maximum maneuverability, steady positioning, and quick assembly for efficient daily logistics in any professional industrial setting.

Equipping your workplace with a heavy-duty welding cart ensures smooth movement of heavy equipment and industrial gear across busy floors. Featuring two spacious tray levels, each designed to hold up to 125 kg of evenly distributed weight, this unit delivers a total module capacity of 250 kg. The robust two-tier arrangement allows tradesmen to organize bulky tools, components, and heavy items securely on separate shelves. Having dedicated levels prevents clutter, keeps essential gear accessible, and protects valuable machinery from accidental drops during transport across the workshop floor.

Standing at 84 cm high, with a wide footprint measuring 117 cm in width and 65 cm in depth, these mobile welding carts accommodate substantial payloads without restricting movement through narrow aisles. Each generous 117x65 cm tray level provides ample room for deep storage boxes, chemical drums, bulky power tools, and workshop archives. Because the levels are height-adjustable, operators can easily reconfigure the internal spacing to fit tall equipment or specialized containers. This practical adaptability ensures maximum spatial efficiency for technicians needing flexible, on-the-go storage solutions.

Built from high-grade structural plastic, this heavy-duty welding cart offers superior resistance to impacts, chemical spills, and everyday wear in harsh environments. The sturdy frame integrates four heavy-duty swivel castors, two of which include positive action brakes to lock the unit firmly in place when stationary. Assembling the module is straightforward and fast, requiring minimal effort so your team can put it to work immediately. Furthermore, the non-porous plastic surfaces make cleaning effortless, maintaining a clean workspace while protecting stored components from grease, dirt, and liquid accumulation.

Finished in a neutral grey tone, this industrial welding cart blends seamlessly into professional settings while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic. The subtle grey finish hides minor scuffs and marks, keeping your facility looking organized and tidy. Within our broader range, alternative sizes and tray configurations are available to suit distinct operational requirements, whether you need compact service trolleys or expanded multi-tray options. Selecting matching models from the same product family allows businesses to standardize their mobile material handling setups across multiple departments or facility zones effortlessly.

Whether deployed in mechanical workshops, industrial store rooms, retail backrooms, or private maintenance garages, this versatile welding cart is the superior choice over fixed, static shelves. Unlike stationary racking units that keep tools locked in one location, this mobile platform delivers high load capacities directly to where active maintenance or assembly occurs. By reducing unnecessary footsteps and improving workflow efficiency, it serves as an indispensable piece of equipment for active, fast-paced work environments where safety, speed, and organized tool storage are top operational priorities.

Applicable regulations in Ireland · Industrial Welding Cart · 2 Trays · 125 kg

Trolleys on castors (domestic use)

In Ireland, a shelving unit fitted in the garage, attic or utility room of a private home is not governed by workplace safety law: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the General Application Regulations 2007 bind employers, not householders. What does apply is general product safety. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), applicable since 13 December 2024, requires that only safe products be placed on the market (art. 5) and that a distance-selling offer clearly shows the manufacturer's name, postal and electronic address and any safety warnings (art. 19); in Ireland it is enforced by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission under S.I. No. 726/2024, which also requires that this information, and the safety information supplied with the product, be in English (Reg. 5).. The Consumer Rights Act 2022 adds that goods must come with the installation instructions a consumer may reasonably expect (s. 18) and that an incorrect installation due to shortcomings in those instructions is a lack of conformity (s. 19). Our advice: move the trolley only across smooth, level floors, never leave it loaded on a slope as its castors have no brakes, never exceed the stated maximum load per tray or shelf and keep heavy items at the bottom.

Professional use with manual loading

In Ireland, shelving in a workshop, shop or stockroom with employees is work equipment: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007) define that as any installation for use at work (Reg. 2) and set the employer’s duties in Part 2, Chapter 2, giving effect to the EU Work Equipment Directive, now codified as Directive 2009/104/EC: installed and located correctly and suitable for the work (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), for a tall unit fixed to the wall; kept safe by adequate maintenance throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and erected or dismantled following the manufacturer’s instructions (Reg. 28(o)). Because a bolted unit’s safety depends on how it is installed, Reg. 30 requires an initial inspection after installation and after re-assembly at any new location, plus periodic inspections by a competent person where it is exposed to conditions causing deterioration, with results kept for 5 years. The Health and Safety Authority’s Work at Height / Falling Objects information sheet asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, no overloading, and racking checked regularly for damage and not used until repaired or replaced. EN 15635, the European standard on use and maintenance, is a reference, not a legal obligation.
