Equipping an Irish workshop or busy stockroom requires reliable transport for heavy equipment. This sturdy tool trolley on wheels features two heavy-duty deep tub levels designed to carry up to 110 kg on each level without buckling. The load distribution allows a total capacity of 220 kg across the unit, letting technicians transport bulky components, power kits, and heavy hardware safely in a single trip. Having two wide open trays keeps essential gear organized and immediately accessible, saving valuable working time on the shop floor.
Measuring 84 cm in height, 103 cm in width, and 44 cm in depth, this mobile service unit is engineered for smooth passage through standard doorway frames in Irish commercial premises. Each spacious deep tray comfortably accommodates toolboxes, liquid containers, maintenance supplies, and archive boxes while preventing spillages. Using a practical tool trolley with wheels configured across two levels ensures that both large containers and smaller loose items remain securely positioned during movement, preventing accidental falls while moving across uneven factory floors.
Constructed entirely from heavy-duty structural plastic, this unit provides exceptional durability against everyday mechanical impacts. The simple assembly process follows straightforward clear instructions, allowing fast setup without complex tools. This robust structural plastic tool trolley on wheels includes an ergonomic push handle fitted with a built-in organizer and integrated cup holder for drinks or small parts. Four smooth-swivelling castors, including two equipped with foot brakes, deliver effortlessly fluid maneuvering and rock-solid stability whenever locked firmly in place.
Finished in a neutral grey tone, the protective plastic body inherently resists moisture, rust, and harsh chemical spills common in automotive garages. Choosing a grey tool trolley on wheels maintains a clean industrial look that seamlessly integrates into modern working facilities. For operations requiring distinct color coding or alternate aesthetic preferences, the same 84x103x44 cm two-tray configuration is also available in a sleek black finish within this product family, matching identical load capacities and structural performance.
Compared to standard static shelves or metallic carts, this specialized structural plastic deep-tray design prevents liquid drips and falling tools during transport across active workspaces. It stands out as the right choice for busy Irish workshops, industrial storehouses, and retail stockrooms where fast mobility and chemical resistance are critical. Deploying a professional two-tier tool trolley on wheels ensures your daily maintenance materials stay organized, dry, and ready for immediate deployment across any section of your facility.

Trolleys on castors (domestic use)
In Ireland, a shelving unit fitted in the garage, attic or utility room of a private home is not governed by workplace safety law: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the General Application Regulations 2007 bind employers, not householders. What does apply is general product safety. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), applicable since 13 December 2024, requires that only safe products be placed on the market (art. 5) and that a distance-selling offer clearly shows the manufacturer's name, postal and electronic address and any safety warnings (art. 19); in Ireland it is enforced by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission under S.I. No. 726/2024, which also requires that this information, and the safety information supplied with the product, be in English (Reg. 5).. The Consumer Rights Act 2022 adds that goods must come with the installation instructions a consumer may reasonably expect (s. 18) and that an incorrect installation due to shortcomings in those instructions is a lack of conformity (s. 19). Our advice: move the trolley only across smooth, level floors, never leave it loaded on a slope as its castors have no brakes, never exceed the stated maximum load per tray or shelf and keep heavy items at the bottom.
Professional use with manual loading
In Ireland, shelving in a workshop, shop or stockroom with employees is work equipment: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007) define that as any installation for use at work (Reg. 2) and set the employer’s duties in Part 2, Chapter 2, giving effect to the EU Work Equipment Directive, now codified as Directive 2009/104/EC: installed and located correctly and suitable for the work (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), for a tall unit fixed to the wall; kept safe by adequate maintenance throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and erected or dismantled following the manufacturer’s instructions (Reg. 28(o)). Because a bolted unit’s safety depends on how it is installed, Reg. 30 requires an initial inspection after installation and after re-assembly at any new location, plus periodic inspections by a competent person where it is exposed to conditions causing deterioration, with results kept for 5 years. The Health and Safety Authority’s Work at Height / Falling Objects information sheet asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, no overloading, and racking checked regularly for damage and not used until repaired or replaced. EN 15635, the European standard on use and maintenance, is a reference, not a legal obligation.
