Description · Euro Pallet Racks 1500 kg
Installing these euro pallet racks provides commercial facilities with 1500 kg load capacity per level across a 353 cm frame height and 269 cm clear span. Designed for maximum vertical density, this model features 4 reinforced beam levels plus floor space to accommodate up to 15 euro pallets per bay. Each bay includes 2 blue RAL 5010 upright frames at 100 cm depth alongside 8 orange RAL 2002 reinforced beams measuring 120x45 mm. Perfect for high-density inventory management, this kit arrives at a total weight of 145.75 kg with expansion anchors included for secure floor fixing.
Integrating four elevated beam levels alongside the floor surface creates five distinct loading heights in this bay. Choosing these euro pallet racks allows facilities to maximise high vertical space efficiently without sacrificing accessibility. Each beam level holds three Euro pallets measuring 800x1200 mm or two American pallets measuring 1000x1200 mm side by side. Including the floor space, up to 15 Euro pallets fit within a single bay. This 353 cm tall arrangement is ideal for busy logistics hubs needing significant vertical storage density across moderate floor footprints.
Delivered in component kit form weighing 145.75 kg, the package includes two upright frames built from 90x60 mm uprights joined by 10 diagonal bracing bars and 4 horizontal bracing bars using M10x75 bolts. Eight reinforced 120x45 mm beams slot into upright connectors and lock firmly using 18 safety pins. Four 120x120x3 mm base plates attach with M10x20 bolts and fix to concrete using nine M10x70 expansion anchors. This boltless beam hook system makes assembling these euro pallet racks straightforward without requiring specialised tools or site welding.
Finished in industrial high-visibility coatings, the unit features blue RAL 5010 upright frames paired with orange RAL 2002 beams for clear visual identification. Maintaining safety standards in busy areas is easy with compatible accessories, including steel upright protectors and ground-mounted protection barriers available in orange RAL 2004 or yellow RAL 1023. Fitting these euro pallet racks with 2650 mm timber shelf decks converts any elevated tier into a manual picking station, while add-on bays sharing central frames can extend run lengths continuously across wide open floor areas.
Selecting this configuration is the correct operational choice for distribution centres, commercial storehouses, and active engineering workshops needing dense vertical storage. Offering four load levels above the ground, this model delivers superior vertical space utilisation compared to lower two or three-level alternatives. Deploying these euro pallet racks helps logistics managers organise palletised goods cleanly while maintaining direct forklift entry to every level. Its heavy-duty 1500 kg beam capacity and robust reinforced construction ensure long-term dependability in demanding Irish industrial storage environments.
Assembling these euro pallet racks begins by joining four 3525 mm uprights with ten 1128x40x30x1.5 mm diagonal bracing bars and four 948x40x30x1.5 mm horizontal bracing bars using M10x75 bolts and M10 nuts. Each vertical column rests on a 120x120x3 mm base plate secured into concrete using M10x70 expansion anchors to construct two rigid upright frames. Eight 2690 mm long reinforced 120x45 mm beams connect into the slots, where 18 safety pins lock each connector to prevent dislodgement during active loading.
Selecting this 4-level setup over lower 2 or 3-level configurations or denser 5 and 6-level alternatives at 353 cm height offers the optimal balance between vertical storage density and overhead beam clearance. Facilities storing varied stock heights can fit up to 15 Euro pallets without restricting forklift access. These euro pallet racks give operations full flexibility to adjust load tiers, ensuring seamless integration into fast-paced Irish storehouses and logistics hubs.

Pallet racking and forklift operation
In Ireland, pallet racking in a forklift-served warehouse is work equipment under Part 2, Chapter 2 of the General Application Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007), implementing the EU Work Equipment Directive (now Directive 2009/104/EC). installed and located correctly (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), in practice erected as per the manufacturer’s instructions with the uprights anchored to the floor; maintained throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and inspected by a competent person after installation and re-assembly, then periodically and by special inspection after an accident, a modification or any other exceptional event, with records kept for 5 years (Reg. 30). Traffic routes must be dimensioned for the number of users and the type of undertaking, pedestrians given sufficient safety clearance where trucks share them, and areas where objects could fall clearly indicated and access controlled (Reg. 14). Health and Safety Authority guidance asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, racking checked regularly for damage and uprights protected from impact; its Code of Practice on the Safe Use of Industrial Trucks adds that features of the operating area such as racking should be clearly marked and protected against accidental damage. EN 15635, the European standard on the use and maintenance of storage equipment, is a technical reference for organising those checks, not a legal obligation.
