Measuring 180x120x45 cm, it features five height-adjustable shelves that support up to 275 kg per shelf (1375 kg total capacity per module). The durable galvanised finish offers exceptional corrosion resistance, making it ideal for demanding spaces. Designed with an easy boltless assembly system, you can set up this robust unit quickly without tools to keep your heavy tools and bulky boxes perfectly organised.
Equipped with five levels, this versatile metal shelving unit delivers serious storage capacity where each level supports up to 275 kg when weight is evenly distributed. Storing heavy tools, dense hardware, and bulky items on individual shelves becomes completely hassle-free, allowing tradespeople and stockroom managers across Ireland to keep essential gear neatly organised. Having five distinct height-adjustable levels gives you maximum flexibility to arrange supplies efficiently without wasting floor space. It provides a dependable structure that ensures every single tier works hard for your daily operations.
Standing at 180 cm high, 120 cm wide, and 45 cm deep, this practical metal shelving unit makes excellent use of vertical wall space. The generous dimensions easily accommodate large archive boxes, heavy tool cases, and storage drums with room to spare. Because the levels can be easily adjusted in height, you can quickly customise the distance between shelves to suit taller equipment or stacked containers. This adaptability ensures that your workshop or store room stays clutter-free while maintaining fast, direct manual access to all stored items at all times.
Built with robust upright columns, sturdy beams, and solid metal shelves, this boltless metal shelving unit offers exceptional structural rigidity under heavy loads. The intelligent screw-free assembly system means you do not need complex tools or lengthy installation procedures to set it up. The pieces slot together smoothly, allowing you to assemble the entire frame in a matter of minutes. This simple construction design delivers a strong, wobble-free frame that stands up to demanding daily use, providing instant, reliable storage for any professional workspace.
Featuring a clean, industrial galvanised finish, this resilient metal shelving unit is specifically designed to resist corrosion and moisture damage over time. The protective zinc coating shields the steel components, ensuring long-lasting durability even in damp environments. Within the same product series, alternative options are also available in a sleek black finish for those seeking a different aesthetic, while maintaining identical 180x120 cm dimensions and 5-level versatility. This galvanised version remains a top choice for maximum surface protection and continuous heavy utility.
When choosing between options in this series, this galvanised metal shelving unit is the ideal choice for workshops, garages, stockrooms, and active retail store rooms where moisture or tough handling might occur. While black painted alternatives suit dry display areas, the robust zinc-coated finish on this module handles demanding environments effortlessly. It provides an uncompromised, future-proof storage solution for Irish businesses needing dependable, high-capacity organisation across their commercial premises. Investing in this tough module guarantees your heavy goods remain safe, secure, and easily accessible every day.

Applicable regulations in Ireland · Industrial Metal Shelving Unit 275 kg · 180x120x45 cm · Galvanized
Domestic use (garage, storage room)
In Ireland, a shelving unit fitted in the garage, attic or utility room of a private home is not governed by workplace safety law: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the General Application Regulations 2007 bind employers, not householders. What does apply is general product safety. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), applicable since 13 December 2024, requires that only safe products be placed on the market (art. 5) and that a distance-selling offer clearly shows the manufacturer's name, postal and electronic address and any safety warnings (art. 19); in Ireland it is enforced by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission under S.I. No. 726/2024, which also requires that this information, and the safety information supplied with the product, be in English (Reg. 5).. The Consumer Rights Act 2022 adds that goods must come with the installation instructions a consumer may reasonably expect (s. 18) and that an incorrect installation due to shortcomings in those instructions is a lack of conformity (s. 19). Our advice: anchor the unit to the wall against tipping and never exceed the stated maximum load per shelf.
Professional use with manual loading
In Ireland, shelving in a workshop, shop or stockroom with employees is work equipment: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007) define that as any installation for use at work (Reg. 2) and set the employer’s duties in Part 2, Chapter 2, giving effect to the EU Work Equipment Directive, now codified as Directive 2009/104/EC: installed and located correctly and suitable for the work (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), for a tall unit fixed to the wall; kept safe by adequate maintenance throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and erected or dismantled following the manufacturer’s instructions (Reg. 28(o)). Because a bolted unit’s safety depends on how it is installed, Reg. 30 requires an initial inspection after installation and after re-assembly at any new location, plus periodic inspections by a competent person where it is exposed to conditions causing deterioration, with results kept for 5 years. The Health and Safety Authority’s Work at Height / Falling Objects information sheet asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, no overloading, and racking checked regularly for damage and not used until repaired or replaced. EN 15635, the European standard on use and maintenance, is a reference, not a legal obligation.
