Description · Industrial Shelving 300 kg
This industrial shelving provides a reliable storage framework for Irish warehouses, workshops, and commercial stockrooms requiring manual load organisation. Standing 180 cm high by 120 cm wide and 60 cm deep, this durable grey rack features four height-adjustable levels with a 300 kg load capacity per level for a total module rating of 1200 kg. Engineered for storing heavy equipment, archive boxes, and stock, its quick boltless assembly allows uprights and beams to join securely in minutes without screws. The shelves are MDF boards on steel beams.
Managing heavy stock in busy Irish premises requires robust infrastructure that supports heavy manual loading. This four-tier setup of industrial shelving delivers a 300 kg load capacity per level when weight is evenly spread across the surface. Storing dense equipment, crate loads, or industrial components on individual tiers becomes safe and predictable. Having four distinct levels allows commercial operators to separate distinct categories cleanly, boosting picking speed and keeping busy floors safe, clear, and fully compliant for everyday staff movements. The 4 levels carry MDF boards resting on steel beams: the frame is steel, while the surface of each shelf is board, not sheet metal.
Standing at 180 cm high, 120 cm wide, and 60 cm deep, this heavy-duty industrial shelving profile maximizes vertical footprint while taking up minimal floor space. The generous 60 cm depth comfortably accommodates bulky archival boxes, plastic bins, tool chests, and heavy liquid drums. Each tier adjusts in height easily, letting you customize vertical clearance according to seasonal inventory changes or varied box sizes. This adaptability ensures no overhead space is wasted in compact stockrooms or busy commercial facilities.
Constructed with sturdy uprights, robust beams, cross bracing, and solid MDF-decked shelf levels, this boltless industrial shelving structural design ensures impressive stability. The clever slot-together design allows rapid assembly without screws or specialized tools, keeping installation straightforward and hassle-free. Your staff can assemble or alter the structure in minutes, minimizing operational downtime. The rigid frame provides a firm, reliable foundation built to endure continuous daily hand loading across demanding industrial, commercial, and workshop environments without swaying.
Finished in a clean, professional grey coating, this industrial shelving installation fits seamlessly into modern stockrooms, customer-facing backrooms, and automotive workshops. The durable grey finish protects against daily wear, maintaining a tidy appearance over time. Within the SP Pro Glide range, this grey series also includes wider configurations measuring 180x150 cm and 180x180 cm, both featuring four levels. This visual consistency allows you to expand your storage layout seamlessly while maintaining a cohesive look across your facility.
For narrower stockrooms, maintenance bays, or tight shop backrooms, this 120 cm wide industrial shelving setup offers the ideal balance between high load capacity and efficient space management. While wider 150 cm and 180 cm options suit expansive open warehouses, this mid-sized model thrives in restricted footprints where aisle clearance is critical. It provides exceptional strength and storage density without obstructing walkways, making it the ideal choice for businesses needing organized hand-loaded storage in smaller, high-traffic commercial spaces.

Applicable regulations in Ireland · Industrial Shelving 300 kg · 4 Levels · 180x120x60 cm
Domestic use (garage, storage room)
In Ireland, a shelving unit fitted in the garage, attic or utility room of a private home is not governed by workplace safety law: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the General Application Regulations 2007 bind employers, not householders. What does apply is general product safety. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), applicable since 13 December 2024, requires that only safe products be placed on the market (art. 5) and that a distance-selling offer clearly shows the manufacturer's name, postal and electronic address and any safety warnings (art. 19); in Ireland it is enforced by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission under S.I. No. 726/2024, which also requires that this information, and the safety information supplied with the product, be in English (Reg. 5).. The Consumer Rights Act 2022 adds that goods must come with the installation instructions a consumer may reasonably expect (s. 18) and that an incorrect installation due to shortcomings in those instructions is a lack of conformity (s. 19). Our advice: anchor the unit to the wall against tipping and never exceed the stated maximum load per shelf.
Professional use with manual loading
In Ireland, shelving in a workshop, shop or stockroom with employees is work equipment: the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007) define that as any installation for use at work (Reg. 2) and set the employer’s duties in Part 2, Chapter 2, giving effect to the EU Work Equipment Directive, now codified as Directive 2009/104/EC: installed and located correctly and suitable for the work (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), for a tall unit fixed to the wall; kept safe by adequate maintenance throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and erected or dismantled following the manufacturer’s instructions (Reg. 28(o)). Because a bolted unit’s safety depends on how it is installed, Reg. 30 requires an initial inspection after installation and after re-assembly at any new location, plus periodic inspections by a competent person where it is exposed to conditions causing deterioration, with results kept for 5 years. The Health and Safety Authority’s Work at Height / Falling Objects information sheet asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, no overloading, and racking checked regularly for damage and not used until repaired or replaced. EN 15635, the European standard on use and maintenance, is a reference, not a legal obligation.
