Description · Industrial Warehouse Racking 1500 kg
This industrial warehouse racking unit features a 300 cm height and a 269 cm span, engineered for heavy storage operations. Designed with 3 beam levels plus floor level, the kit provides 4 load heights capable of holding up to 12 Euro pallets per bay. Each reinforced beam level supports 1500 kg, offering a total capacity of 4500 kg per bay. Built with robust 90x60 mm uprights and 120x45 mm beams, each upright frame anchors directly into concrete flooring with M10x70 anchors for maximum operational safety and stability.
Choosing this 3-level setup provides 4 complete loading heights per bay, counting the ground floor beneath the lower beam position. This configuration accommodates up to 12 Euro pallets (800x1200 mm) or 8 American pallets (1000x1200 mm) in total, maximising vertical storage capacity within standard room heights. It offers an excellent solution for commercial operations seeking direct pallet access across every level. Selecting this reliable industrial warehouse racking ensures balanced stock distribution and simplified inventory control for active dispatch centres.
Engineered for high weight capacities, each level supports up to 1500 kg of uniformly distributed load, bringing total beam capacity to 4500 kg per bay. Dimensions measure 300 cm high, 269 cm clear span width, and 100 cm depth. Every 269 cm clear span fits 3 Euro pallets (800x1200 mm) or 2 American pallets (1000x1200 mm) side by side. This versatile industrial warehouse racking unit weighs 119.98 kg, offering robust dimensional proportions tailored specifically for standard palletised goods in modern commercial stores.
The kit contains 2 upright frames formed by 4 uprights of 3000 mm, 8 diagonal bracing bars, 4 horizontal bracing bars, and 4 base plates measuring 120x120 mm. Each upright frame is assembled with M10 bolts and nuts, then secured to concrete floors using M10x70 expansion anchor components. The 6 reinforced 120x45 mm beams connect rapidly via end connectors and lock in place with 14 safety pins. Assembling this industrial warehouse racking structure requires no welding or complex tools, delivering a quick mechanical fitting process.
Finished in high-durability powder coating, the unit features RAL 5010 blue upright frames alongside vibrant RAL 2002 orange beams for clear visual identification. To further customise this industrial warehouse racking setup, compatible add-ons include upright protectors and protection barriers in RAL 2004 or RAL 1023 finishes. Integrating a 2650 mm timber shelf deck converts any level into a picking shelf, while optional extension bays share an existing upright frame to extend run lengths efficiently.
This high-capacity kit represents an optimal solution for busy commercial storerooms, logistics depots, and manufacturing facilities needing reliable bulk pallet management. With its 300 cm overall height, the module fits neatly into premises with standard ceiling clearance while maintaining substantial load allowances. Installing this robust industrial warehouse racking creates a structured storage environment that significantly enhances daily inventory control, order fulfilment, and forklift manoeuvring across demanding industrial operations throughout Ireland.
Selecting a 3-level configuration for this 300 cm model provides a practical middle ground compared to 2-level or 4-level layouts. Integrating this industrial warehouse racking setup allows facilities with standard ceiling clearance to maintain efficient clearance for lower tiers while fully loading upper beams. Every 120x45 mm reinforced beam connects quickly into the 90x60 mm upright slots via attached connectors, locked firmly with 2 safety pins per beam.
Precision framework components include 1128x40x30x1.5 mm diagonal bracing bar units and 948x40x30x1.5 mm horizontal bracing bar pieces fitted between vertical profiles. Completing this industrial warehouse racking structure involves joining 120x120x3 mm base plates with M10x20 bolts, while M10x75 bolts and M10 nuts secure the frame bracing. Floor anchorage using M10x70 expansion anchors delivers exceptional structural rigidity for busy commercial operations across Ireland.

Pallet racking and forklift operation
In Ireland, pallet racking in a forklift-served warehouse is work equipment under Part 2, Chapter 2 of the General Application Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007), implementing the EU Work Equipment Directive (now Directive 2009/104/EC). installed and located correctly (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), in practice erected as per the manufacturer’s instructions with the uprights anchored to the floor; maintained throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and inspected by a competent person after installation and re-assembly, then periodically and by special inspection after an accident, a modification or any other exceptional event, with records kept for 5 years (Reg. 30). Traffic routes must be dimensioned for the number of users and the type of undertaking, pedestrians given sufficient safety clearance where trucks share them, and areas where objects could fall clearly indicated and access controlled (Reg. 14). Health and Safety Authority guidance asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, racking checked regularly for damage and uprights protected from impact; its Code of Practice on the Safe Use of Industrial Trucks adds that features of the operating area such as racking should be clearly marked and protected against accidental damage. EN 15635, the European standard on the use and maintenance of storage equipment, is a technical reference for organising those checks, not a legal obligation.
