Description · Warehouse Racking Systems 1500 kg
Installing robust warehouse racking systems optimises vertical floor space while providing reliable support for heavy inventory. This unit stands 300 cm high with a 269 cm clear span and 100 cm depth, supplying 3 loading heights to store up to 9 Euro pallets including ground level. Equipped with 2 blue RAL 5010 upright frames and 4 orange RAL 2002 reinforced beams, each bay delivers a 1500 kg load capacity per level for demanding storage environments.
Investing in reliable warehouse racking systems with a 2-level beam configuration creates 3 practical loading heights when counting the floor position beneath. Each elevation comfortably accommodates 3 Euro pallets measuring 800x1200 mm or 2 American pallets measuring 1000x1200 mm. This setup allows a single unit to hold up to 9 Euro pallets in total. It serves as an ideal storage solution for facilities that require accessible lower-level inventory placement without needing extreme vertical clearance, making stock handling efficient and straightforward across active operations.
The kit weighs 97.12 kg and includes 2 upright frames built from 4 uprights, 8 diagonal bracing bars, 4 horizontal bracing bars, and 4 base plates fastened with M10 bolts and nuts. Modern warehouse racking systems feature quick, boltless beam installation where each horizontal beam engages directly into upright slots via its connector and locks into place with a safety pin. Steel expansion anchors fix base plates to the floor surface, establishing exceptional rigidity without requiring specialised tools or welding for assembly.
Finished in high-visibility RAL 5010 blue on upright frames and vivid RAL 2002 orange on beams, these warehouse racking systems maintain a clean, professional aesthetic while improving workplace safety. The unit supports several optional accessories, including upright protectors and protection barriers in RAL 2004 orange or RAL 1023 yellow to guard against machinery impacts. Adding a 2650 mm timber shelf deck converts any beam level into a picking shelf, while modular extension bays share an upright frame to expand storage runs easily.
Whether fitted in a busy commercial warehouse, local distribution hub, or industrial workshop, versatile warehouse racking systems provide dependable service across various commercial sectors. This specific 2-level setup offers balanced height and accessibility, making each bay ideal for facilities seeking structured inventory management without compromising floor clearance. Deploying this robust structure ensures immediate order, optimised floor space, and effortless access to heavy palletised inventory throughout daily operations.
To build a resilient floor run, these warehouse racking systems rely on 90x60 mm uprights assembled with diagonal and horizontal bracing bars using M10x75 bolts. Every upright stands on a 120x120x3 mm base plate secured with M10x20 bolts and anchored directly into concrete using M10x70 expansion floor anchors. The 120x45 mm reinforced beam levels connect cleanly into upright slots and lock into place using 90# safety pins, establishing unyielding frame rigidity for demanding industrial environments.
Selecting this 2-level configuration over multi-tier 3, 4, or 5-level options within the 300 cm height range provides exceptional vertical clearance above floor height. Storing oversized crates, heavy machinery, or tall containers directly on the floor level leaves the 2 upper beam tiers clear for dense stock. Integrating high-capacity warehouse racking systems into your facility enables seamless handling of heavy goods while ensuring balanced weight distribution up to 1500 kg per beam level.

Applicable regulations in Ireland · Warehouse Racking Systems 1500 kg · 2 Levels · 300x269 cm
Pallet racking and forklift operation
In Ireland, pallet racking in a forklift-served warehouse is work equipment under Part 2, Chapter 2 of the General Application Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007), implementing the EU Work Equipment Directive (now Directive 2009/104/EC). installed and located correctly (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), in practice erected as per the manufacturer’s instructions with the uprights anchored to the floor; maintained throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and inspected by a competent person after installation and re-assembly, then periodically and by special inspection after an accident, a modification or any other exceptional event, with records kept for 5 years (Reg. 30). Traffic routes must be dimensioned for the number of users and the type of undertaking, pedestrians given sufficient safety clearance where trucks share them, and areas where objects could fall clearly indicated and access controlled (Reg. 14). Health and Safety Authority guidance asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, racking checked regularly for damage and uprights protected from impact; its Code of Practice on the Safe Use of Industrial Trucks adds that features of the operating area such as racking should be clearly marked and protected against accidental damage. EN 15635, the European standard on the use and maintenance of storage equipment, is a technical reference for organising those checks, not a legal obligation.
