Description · Six Tier Rack for Two Pallets 1000 kg
Equip your Irish warehouse with this rack six tier two pallets system, engineered to yield maximum vertical density across a compact 184 cm beam span. Featuring 300 cm upright frames in RAL 5010 blue and RAL 2002 orange beams, this heavy-duty bay allows you to store up to 14 Euro pallets across six beam elevations plus floor space. Built for efficient storage, each level delivers a 1000 kg load capacity, supporting up to 6000 kg per bay with total floor-anchored stability.
Deploying a rack six tier two pallets configuration allows Irish logistics operators to fully exploit vertical clearance without expanding floor acreage. By combining six beam levels with the floor area, this unit delivers seven complete loading heights in a single footprint. Designed to hold two Euro pallets measuring 800x1200 mm or one 1000x1200 mm American pallet side-by-side on each level, a standalone module accommodates up to 14 Euro pallets or 7 American pallets in total. This dense layout optimizes inventory rotation for high-volume facilities.
Engineered for structural balance, this high-density racks six tier two pallets system supports a 1000 kg uniformly distributed load across every pair of beams, yielding a total framework rating of 6000 kg across all beam elevations. The structure features 300 cm high uprights with a 90x60 mm profile and a 100 cm depth, perfectly proportioned for 184 cm clear beam spans constructed from 100x45 mm steel. This geometry ensures precise alignment for standard 800x1200 mm Euro and 1000x1200 mm American pallets without wasted lateral clearance.
Delivered as a 141.78 kg flat-packed kit, assembly involves joining two 300 cm frames using eight diagonal 1128x40x30x1.5 bracing bars, four horizontal 948x40x30x1.5 bracing bars, and M10x75 bolts with M10 nuts. Four 120x120x3 mm base plates attach via M10x20 bolts and anchor to concrete using M10x70 expansion bolts. The twelve 1840 mm beam sections hook smoothly into profile slots, locked securely with 26 safety pins 90#. This modular setup requires no specialised tools or site welding.
Finished in durable RAL 5010 blue upright frames and vivid RAL 2002 orange beams, this bay maintains high visibility across active work zones. Facilities can integrate protective upright guards or safety barriers finished in RAL 2004 orange or RAL 1023 yellow, alongside an 1800 mm shelf panel to convert lower elevations into dedicated picking bays. The system easily scales using the online configurator, which connects additional add-on bays that share intermediate upright frames to reduce total component costs.
While 300 cm high models are available in two, three, four, or five level options, choosing a six tier two pallets rack maximizes vertical storage density when ceiling heights permit. It is the ideal choice for commercial premises handling compact or medium-height palletised stock that require maximum pallet slots per square metre. Rather than leaving empty vertical space above fewer beam tiers, this maximum-level configuration transforms upper room volume into functional, organised pallet storage across busy Irish industrial facilities.

Pallet racking and forklift operation
In Ireland, pallet racking in a forklift-served warehouse is work equipment under Part 2, Chapter 2 of the General Application Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299/2007), implementing the EU Work Equipment Directive (now Directive 2009/104/EC). installed and located correctly (Reg. 28); stabilised by clamping or some other means where necessary for safety (Reg. 33), in practice erected as per the manufacturer’s instructions with the uprights anchored to the floor; maintained throughout its working life (Reg. 31); and inspected by a competent person after installation and re-assembly, then periodically and by special inspection after an accident, a modification or any other exceptional event, with records kept for 5 years (Reg. 30). Traffic routes must be dimensioned for the number of users and the type of undertaking, pedestrians given sufficient safety clearance where trucks share them, and areas where objects could fall clearly indicated and access controlled (Reg. 14). Health and Safety Authority guidance asks for the maximum safe load prominently marked on all racks, racking checked regularly for damage and uprights protected from impact; its Code of Practice on the Safe Use of Industrial Trucks adds that features of the operating area such as racking should be clearly marked and protected against accidental damage. EN 15635, the European standard on the use and maintenance of storage equipment, is a technical reference for organising those checks, not a legal obligation.
